PIF: Project Initiaton Form

The Ksquare Group

Problem / Challenge.

The process of making a project from scratch in Ksquare is complicated because only people in high positions have the access required to do it, and only one person can do it.

Our challenge is to design a platform that has 3 different users (Project Initiator, Project Co-creator, and Project Appraiser) so that as the project request progresses, it is reviewed and the other users can approve it or reject it.

Our role & how we embraced it.

For this project we used a design process called Double Diamond which is divided as follows:

  • Discovery – How users solve the problem now.
  • Define – The user need to focus on.
  • Develop – Prototype several potential solutions.
  • Deliver – Test with end users and the business.

This design process shows the divergent and convergent stages and the different ways of thinking that designers have.

What are the wins.

Thanks to this design process, the following results were obtained:

  • Generate a platform that solves the problem of the client for real users.
  • To have a consistency within the whole platform.
  • Have the expected result on time using the agile methodology.
